Ninefold Pure Single Rum

Made entirely from scratch in Dumfries & Galloway, Ninefold Pure Single Rum is a genuine Scottish rum in the fullest sense. Every drop begins at the distillery with sugarcane molasses, water and yeast, rather than imported spirit being redistilled or simply bottled under a Scottish name. The wash is fermented for several days before being distilled in a copper pot still, creating a rich, characterful spirit with far more texture than many conventional white rums.

Unaged and bottled at a generous 46% ABV, it is creamy and full-bodied, with notes of banana bread, caramel and butterscotch, lifted by citrus and a gentle peppery edge. The absence of oak allows the quality of the fermentation and distillation to remain completely exposed, producing a rum that is expressive enough to sip neat yet powerful enough to hold its character in a Daiquiri, Mojito or premium highball.

Ninefold is based near Lockerbie and is the only rum distillery in Dumfries & Galloway. This signature bottling has become one of Scotland’s most highly regarded unaged rums, winning both Gold and Style Winner at the 2025 World Rum Awards.

A beautifully made small-batch rum that demonstrates Scottish rum does not need age, added flavouring or heavy sweetness to deliver depth and complexity.
