Selected by Edinburgh’s Port of Leith Distillery and sourced from the Sherry region of Jerez, this Oloroso is matured oxidatively without a layer of flor, allowing it to develop exceptional richness, depth and complexity. The result is a beautifully rounded sherry with a full-bodied character and a long, elegant finish.

The nose is filled with aromas of toasted walnuts, roasted hazelnuts, dried figs and raisins, complemented by notes of orange peel, polished oak, warm spices and dark caramel. The palate is dry yet richly textured, offering layers of dried fruit, nutty complexity and gentle spice, balanced by refreshing acidity that keeps the finish remarkably refined.

Serve lightly chilled or at cellar temperature alongside mature cheeses, roasted nuts, game, slow-cooked meats or mushroom dishes. It also makes an outstanding companion to rich stews and can be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative after-dinner glass.
