A distinctive aperitif from the Carthusian monks, Gentiane des Pères Chartreux is crafted from the distillation of carefully selected fermented gentian roots and rhizomes, before being enriched with a maceration of spices and a touch of sweetness. The result is a bold and unmistakably characterful liqueur that showcases gentian’s earthy intensity in a beautifully balanced style.

At 22.7% ABV, it is wonderfully funky and intriguingly different, with aromas of alpine herbs, damp earth and citrus leading into a palate of bittersweet gentian, warming spice and a lingering herbal finish.
